Adding Another Free switch to ASTPP

Hi,
Would like to add another Free switch server to our existing ASTPP setup. can you please advise how can we do that ?

Do you want to use that FreeSwitch independently or in load balance?

I can see there is option in the panel adding more freeswitch. May be you can make a video for that option.

@smrdoshi Would like tuse it independently as of now but would like to know about using it in load balance as well.

There are two ways to do that.

  1. You can do that by simply adding another freeswitch along with the current one and then handle the calls. But here, you will need to handle inbound calls and sip2sip calls as it may possible, some on your customers registered on 1st FS but another customer or DID point to 2nd FS server. So in that case, it will not work.

We never tried this but here possibly you can have odbc configured in sip profile and then try and check if that is working. If that works then that will be good else you will need to tweak the code to handle that.

  1. You plug SBC / SIP Proxy in front of ASTPP and use SBC as load balancer.
