How do I change the customer account type? Once a customer is created as prepaid or postpaid the account type option is blocked and can not be changed. Is there a way to override this behaviour?
Seems there is not. I did ask them to put in a a different account type where you can offer prepaid packages, and charging postpaid for things outside of that for version 7.
OK but why prevent changes? What’s the problem with changing a customer from prepaid to postpaid and vice versa? Why block this? What happens if I override this in SQL, outside of ASTPP?
Changing account type might impact on the billing cycle. You can surely modify that from database and monitor the billing cycle of those customers.
