Help panel - Rates not open

I’m using version 6, and when my user tries to access the rates section, the dashboard simply reverts to the home screen; it doesn’t show an error, but it doesn’t load the page either. Have you come across this before? Do you know how to fix it?

Also, why is this in the code? What is the purpose of it?

//script async src=“https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=G-Y72F0B6ZN1”> //script

window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || ; function gtag(){window.dataLayer.push(arguments);} gtag(‘js’, new Date()); gtag(‘config’, ‘G-Y72F0B6ZN1’);

The google stuff is for Google Analytics.

Not sure about the other problem

@KNERD I don’t know why, but it won’t let the user access the rates. I don’t know if there have been any updates since I installed it, and I can’t find any documentation on how to update it.

There is no update system for the Community Edition. Only way to troubleshoot is to open the browser console and look for reported errors

@KNERD It doesn’t show any errors, that’s the point I don’t think it is.

When that sort of stuff happens it’s often a permissions problem. Make sure your file and folder permissions are all set properly. Not sure if there is a script somewhere for that. If all else fails look through the install script and see how it sets permissions and then run those commands manually.

You might also want to try login using incognito mode to see if it’s a browser cache or session issue.

@sman123 So, I’ve checked everything, file permissions, tested in incognito mode, nothing works. The Community version doesn’t have user permission controls. Checking the database, the users have permission to access Rates (id 37), but nothing works. It’s strange because this worked when I installed ASTPP.

I’m not talking about UI authentication permissions. I am talking about Linux permissions on the actual files and folders.

I just checked in demo version and that is also having same thing working fine. Something might have changed on db or code level which is causing this issue.

@smrdoshi And I can’t figure out what it is, if anyone can help me find out I would be grateful.
