Compared to FreePBX, the Community edition of ASTPP is extremely underpowered and missing many features. At a minimum, it should include some basic PBX functionality and real-time billing. Enterprise modules could be offered as a 25-years license paid add-on where we can pick and choose what we need instead of paying upwards of thousands of dollars per year for the Enterprise edition. Most people will look for a cheaper solution since ASTPP Community edition can not be used for most real-life scenarios.

As far as we understand, there shouldn’t be any comparison between FreePBX and ASTPP. Both products serves different purpose and vision.
