IP Authentication for Reseller

Hi everyone,

I use ASTPP v6 on Debian 11. I have resellers with their own PBXs and they require IP authentication from me. I am able to set it up under IP settings but when selecting that reseller, I still have to select an individual account within that reseller. When we select an individual account, the IP auth works but that individual account is being billed. How can I set it up so that the funds are withdrawn from just the reseller account?

Now that I think of it. What if I create an individual account under that reseller and just assign the same termination rates to it? That way the reseller and that individual account will be charged at the same rate. It’s double work but it’s a workable solution.

What do you all think?

Yes, that’s right. You need to assign IP to customer account and when the call will be received from that IP, system will charge that account.

Hi Smrdoshi,

Thank you for your reply. I got it working exactly as explained.

Thanks.
